# Automation Technician EFZ

Location: Schwarzenburg

Start your apprenticeship as an Automation Technician EFZ at an internationally active mechanical engineering company. With us, you’ll gain hands-on experience in electrical engineering, automation, assembly, and modern control technology.

## Description

**Control Systems and Equipment**

As an Automation Technician EFZ, you’ll assemble, wire, program, and test electrical control systems and automated equipment. You’ll learn how machines are electrically configured and how their functions are controlled.

**Applying Technology in Practice**

During your apprenticeship, you’ll work with electrical components, control panels, sensors, drives, and control systems. This will give you a step-by-step understanding of how our machines work.

**Apprenticeship at Grünig-SignTronic**

At Grünig-SignTronic, you’ll work on real projects and be mentored by experienced professionals. You can expect a young, collaborative team where you’ll receive strong support and learn quickly. You’ll gain insight into areas such as electrical engineering, assembly, and mechanics, and get to know our machines from the planning stage through to commissioning.

## Requirements

* Interest in technology, electrical engineering, and automated systems
* Enjoyment of hands-on work and solving technical problems
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Math grade of at least 4.5
* Very good written and spoken German
* Reliable, meticulous, and conscientious work ethic
* Motivation to learn new things and take on responsibility
* Ability to work in a team, perseverance, and manual dexterity
