# One home for the perfect screen: our new website is live

For decades you reached us at two addresses — grunig.ch for stretching, coating and washing systems, signtronic.com for Computer-to-Screen exposure. From today there is one: www.grunig-signtronic.com. Two market leaders, one screen-making process, one website.

For decades you reached us at two addresses — **grunig.ch** for stretching, coating and washing systems, **signtronic.com** for Computer-to-Screen exposure. From today there is one: **www.grunig-signtronic.com**. Two market leaders, one screen-making process, one website.

This is not a fresh coat of paint on the old sites. We rebuilt the whole thing around a simple idea: the screen leaves your shop as one finished tool, so the website that sells, supports and documents it should work as one too. Here is what changed and where to find what you need.

## The whole process, finally under one roof

Grünig builds the mechanics — stretching, coating, washing, drying, frame cleaning. SignTronic builds the digital exposure — CtS direct exposing with no film in between. On the old sites those two halves lived apart, and so did the information about them. Now the entire chain — **stretching → coating → exposing → developing** — sits in one navigation, in the order your screens actually move through it.

The homepage shows it directly: modular blocks for stretching, coating, washing and CtS that you can read as a workflow or pick apart as individual stations. 55+ years, 50+ countries, 7,000+ installed systems — the numbers are there, but the structure is the point.

## Products: find the machine, not the menu

The product catalogue covers eleven categories — stretching, coating, washing, CtS machines, drying, frame cleaning, special machines, software / IIoT, inline automation, accessories, and demo & refurbished equipment. You don't have to know our model names to get there:

* **Search as you type** — start typing "stretching" or a model number and matches surface immediately.
* **Filter and sort** — narrow by category, sort by recommended, newest or alphabetical.
* **Real detail pages** — each machine carries its features, technical specs, applications, documentation, compatible systems and the models it replaces.

Looking for a lower-cost entry point? Demo and refurbished machines have their own category, not a buried footnote.

## Technology: how the screen actually gets made

Seven technology pages go past the spec sheet and explain the process. The flagship is **CtS (Computer-to-Screen)**: film-free direct exposing that takes your image from digital file to hardened stencil with no scattering losses, no film setup, and colour registration to the micrometre. The page walks through the LED\_Q4 multispectrum light, DMD modulation and dual-laser frame registration — the parts that decide whether your print holds register on the press.

The **Automation & IN-LINE** page covers the other end of the scale: stretching, coating, exposing and developing wired into one synchronised line for series production with minimal manual handling. Alongside sit deep dives on Industry 4.0, software & IIoT connectivity, stretching, coating and washing. If you want to understand _why_ a process is stable, the answer is here rather than on a PDF you have to request.

## Industries: solutions in your language, not ours

Screen-making for an electronics line is not screen-making for a textile shop. Three industry pages — **industrial**, **graphic** and **textile** — frame the same machines around what each sector actually needs: process stability and repeatability for industrial and functional printing, reproducible quality for graphics, colour fastness and wash resistance for textiles. A fourth section collects **customer projects and use cases** so you can see the automation working before you commit.

## Service: the part that runs for the next few years

A screen printing system is a long-term relationship, and the service section is built to carry it:

* **Support & Hotline** — remote and on-site help from the engineers who build the machines.
* **Spare parts** — original parts from stock, shipped to keep downtime short.
* **Maintenance & inspection** — preventive programmes that protect uptime.
* **Support packages** — tiered cover from basic to all-inclusive.
* **Training & workshops** — operator and maintenance training, on-site or at our centre.
* **FAQ & downloads** — technical answers and documentation you can pull yourself.

There is also a **service portal** for documentation, maintenance records and spare-part lists tied to your own machines.

## Company: who you are actually buying from

The company section answers the questions a serious buyer asks before signing. **About Us** and **History** tell the 55-year story of the two companies that became one. **Expertise** lays out the four pillars we keep in our own hands — sales engineering and project planning, Swiss engineering and manufacturing, commissioning and training, and lifelong service. The **Showroom & Application Center** in Schwarzenburg is where you can watch the systems run on real screens. And **Careers** is open for the people who want to build them.

## Contact: two locations, one team

You always know who you are talking to. **Schwarzenburg** is the headquarters for the mechanical systems and central support; **Rüthi SG** is the CtS Competence Center for direct exposing. Both are reachable directly, with named departments for sales, support, spare parts and general enquiries. A **distributor finder** points you to your local partner, and a **quote request** lets you start a priced enquiry in a few clicks.

## Built to be fast everywhere you open it

Behind the scenes the site runs as a static build on [**Astro**](https://astro.build/), deployed to [**Cloudflare**](https://www.cloudflare.com/)'s global edge. In practice that means one thing for you: pages load fast whether you open them in Schwarzenburg, São Paulo or Shenzhen, on a workshop tablet or a procurement laptop. Forms are protected against bots, and the whole site is **bilingual (English / German)**, responsive on mobile, and built to accessibility standards — so the experience holds up wherever and however you work.
