# The DPI - MYTH

Find out in the Reality Check why exaggerated DPI values without optical precision in industrial screen printing are pure marketing. Read PDF now!

In industrial screen printing, an often misunderstood trend has established itself in recent years: an absurd "resolution race". Manufacturers are outbidding each other with ever higher DPI values beyond the 10,000 mark. But what is the point of utopian numbers on the data sheet if the system lacks the optical discipline to transfer this data to the fabric in a physically stable manner?

Our new **"Reality Check"** dispels the myths of pure software resolution and sheds light on the technical foundations that really matter in pre-stage:

**The DPI trap:** Why hardware integrity and physical light transmission are more important than theoretical computational variables.

**The illusion of the "best setup":** How the perfect interplay of proven LED\_Q4 technology, emulsion and fabric creates real sharpness.

**Optical Control & Autofocus:** Why our unique autofocus solution and mechanical precision prevent sharper rejects.

**Efficiency & Sustainability:** The role of a homogeneous coating by Grünig coating machines for "The Perfect Screen".

**Read the full technical article now!** Download the detailed reality check as a PDF and learn how to distinguish marketing figures from real technological discipline.
