For decades you reached us at two addresses — grunig.ch for stretching, coating and washing systems, signtronic.com for Computer-to-Screen exposure. From today there is one: www.grunig-signtronic.com. Two market leaders, one screen-making process, one website.

This is not a fresh coat of paint on the old sites. We rebuilt the whole thing around a simple idea: the screen leaves your shop as one finished tool, so the website that sells, supports and documents it should work as one too. Here is what changed and where to find what you need.

The whole process, finally under one roof

Grünig builds the mechanics — stretching, coating, washing, drying, frame cleaning. SignTronic builds the digital exposure — CtS direct exposing with no film in between. On the old sites those two halves lived apart, and so did the information about them. Now the entire chain — stretching → coating → exposing → developing — sits in one navigation, in the order your screens actually move through it.

The homepage shows it directly: modular blocks for stretching, coating, washing and CtS that you can read as a workflow or pick apart as individual stations. 55+ years, 50+ countries, 7,000+ installed systems — the numbers are there, but the structure is the point.

Products: find the machine, not the menu

The product catalogue covers eleven categories — stretching, coating, washing, CtS machines, drying, frame cleaning, special machines, software / IIoT, inline automation, accessories, and demo & refurbished equipment. You don't have to know our model names to get there:

• Search as you type — start typing "stretching" or a model number and matches surface immediately.
• Filter and sort — narrow by category, sort by recommended, newest or alphabetical.
• Real detail pages — each machine carries its features, technical specs, applications, documentation, compatible systems and the models it replaces.

Looking for a lower-cost entry point? Demo and refurbished machines have their own category, not a buried footnote.

Technology: how the screen actually gets made

Seven technology pages go past the spec sheet and explain the process. The flagship is CtS (Computer-to-Screen): film-free direct exposing that takes your image from digital file to hardened stencil with no scattering losses, no film setup, and colour registration to the micrometre. The page walks through the LED_Q4 multispectrum light, DMD modulation and dual-laser frame registration — the parts that decide whether your print holds register on the press.

The Automation & IN-LINE page covers the other end of the scale: stretching, coating, exposing and developing wired into one synchronised line for series production with minimal manual handling. Industries: solutions in your language, not ours

Screen-making for an electronics line is not screen-making for a textile shop. Three industry pages — industrial, graphic and textile — frame the same machines around what each sector actually needs: process stability and repeatability for industrial and functional printing, reproducible quality for graphics, colour fastness and wash resistance for textiles.
