Polymechanic EFZ

Location: Schwarzenburg

As a polymechanic with an EFZ certificate, you’ll manufacture precision components, work with modern machinery, and learn the ins and outs of mechanical manufacturing from the ground up.

Description

Precision and Technical Understanding

The training program to become a polymechanic EFZ focuses heavily on precision, technical understanding, and manual dexterity. You’ll work with various materials and learn to accurately translate technical drawings into finished components.


Working on Real Components

At Grünig-SignTronic, you’ll work on actual components for our machines and systems. You’ll manufacture individual parts and assemblies and see firsthand how your work will be used later on.


Tools, Measuring Instruments, and Machines

During your apprenticeship, you’ll learn how to use tools, measuring instruments, and modern manufacturing machines. You’ll be guided through the work step by step and, over time, take on more and more responsibility.


An Apprenticeship with a Future

The 4-year apprenticeship combines hands-on work at the company with vocational school and inter-company courses. This allows you to build a solid foundation for your professional future in mechanical engineering.

Requirements

  • Interest in mechanics, machinery, and technical manufacturing
  • Enjoyment of precise and hands-on work
  • High school or equivalent
  • Math grade of at least 4.5
  • Very good written and spoken German
  • Good spatial awareness
  • Careful, precise, and reliable work ethic
  • Patience, perseverance, and manual dexterity
  • Motivation to learn new things and work as part of a team
