Shaping Metal

During the open house for the Plant and Equipment Technician EFZ program, you’ll get to know a profession in which sheet metal, structural profiles, and metal parts are transformed into sturdy structures. The focus is on hands-on work, technical understanding, and working with various metal parts.


Working with Sheet Metal, Tools, and Machines

You’ll gain insight into how metal is cut, bent, drilled, ground, or joined. Depending on availability, you may also have the chance to try your hand at simple hands-on tasks and get a feel for just how versatile and physically demanding this profession can be.


A Day to Get Acquainted

For the profession of Plant and Equipment Builder EFZ, we currently offer only one-day introductory sessions. The introductory session is ideal if you want to find out whether a hands-on trade in the metalworking field is right for you.


No Current Apprenticeship Positions

We are not currently offering any apprenticeship positions as a Plant and Equipment Builder EFZ. The taster day is therefore primarily intended to help you get to know the profession and gain a first impression of our work environment.
